Sheep scab

I have scab in my flock at the moment. I have treated with two doses of Dectomax which appears to have got rid of it. Unfortunately the ram got it at tupping time so it appears I have 8-10 empty hoggets. I only keep 20 ewes so this is a big % of the flock. Would you recommend I keep them another year or sell them as culls? Also, does the fleece grow back after scab? Thanks in advance.

As pointed out the current price of hoggs is VERY tempting. What you need to explain is just what you`d do if you parted with them.... Are you trying to maintain a closed flock? ( thus preventing buying in replacements). Will you (hopefully) have enough gimmer lambs this year to replace the sold hoggs, and provide the normal intake of gimmer lambs? Have you enough grazing to keep them to tup as shearlings? Are they out of "retention" from the Dectomax if you want to sell them for meat? Just a few things for you to mull over....;)
