Front bearing on Auger is away ! Big job to do? Is big sprocket keyed on?
Never had to do one, but the big sprocket is freewheeling, so should just slip off. It's the arm behind it with the shearbolt that will be keyed or splined on.

I think I'd put a bar across the top of the spreader and a ratchet strap down to the auger to take the weight before I started.

Have you seen that one for sale with a bearing out as well???
I’ve done the west ones have a big set of bearing pullers and heated the sprocket up fairly hot before it cracked. Gas axe for the inner bearing sleeve. Tidy the shaft up and refit the bearings not too bad need plenty of gas they are a big sprocket. SR will be lighter they have bicycle chains on compared to west

As I said, the sprocket will just fall off. I don't think the inner hub will be bad to heat.

No mine genuinely has the bearing away . Downloaded the parts diagram & does look like the sprocket will just come off then the shear bolt arm is splined then pop bearing out , probably just hang the handler over the auger with a chain to support

Yes I just put a strap around the handler not that heavy

I changed the bearing on my 1600 dairy twice my gear was splined on as it has the shear bolt on the input chain to the auger which came off easy just supported the auger with a ratchet strap, have since upgraded to a 2000 contractor which was a big improvement
