couldnt get lamblac for last two weeks for couple of early pets and used the tub of this, they did no worse on it than Lamblac. No issues switching them at 4 weeks either, also its Irish :)

Dont know re price. its worth more than lamlac even for the mixing.
Im sure any milk can be fed cold if you really wanted to.
IMO its worth rearing pets as well as you can. We sold pedigree rams last year and afterwards checked their numbers and noticed some were ones we reared as pets. They had done well

To be fair, that's the case with Lamlac too. It would have to be cheaper and as good, or better, for me to consider changing. Haven't got a price back yet, but told it is 'very competitive'.

Reassuring that nobody has posted that it's awful stuff. Thanks all.:)

I'm told they do a free flow version too, but coming back to me as to whether it needs that to go through a Britmix.

I think they do, i believe its for the french market but it can be got but i guess you will need to order a fare bit to get it. It seems to go through most machines pretty well though with a standard powder. I like Britmilk's vitalamb as that goes through anything and is a decent price, about £38 a bag when I buy 10.

Got the price and info sheet emailed yesterday. It's actually Downland Lamb Force (Shine made under a Downland label by Bonanza) and quotes the same trial data from 2011.

In 20 kg bags at £36.80, so four or five pounds cheaper than LamLac for 20kg. Got some ordered, and I'll blame you guys if it's sh*te.:D

Thanks all.
Was that for the free flow or did they say the other will be ok?
