Hi All
New to this forum, last resort ( no disrespect intended), if nothing else , could some light be shed on reluctance to allow permissions.
Me, Air Gunner, BASC Member , 10 million liability insurance, UK Legal limit air weapons, mature ,experienced individual, work full time, self employed so strictly a hobby for no financial gain or reward.
Fully conversant in health and safety procedures, utmost care always taken with regard to people, property and livestock.
Primarily would aid in vermin control , land / outbuildings.
Based in Shropshire, so anywhere within its borders within reason.
Succesfully shoot for large egg processing plant without issues for over 18 months, so references would be available

Thanks All

Don

You need to find some locals, like in the local pub or villages and make friends. I think if anyone turns up on the doorstep wanting shooting, its the easiest to say "no, sorry." Also I daresay that most farms already have their own shoots.

It is probably down to "contacts."

Thanks for the reply, been trying for quite some time, newspaper ads, flyers, cold calling is not my thing, there are several villages around where I shoot, left cards on village notice boards. I realise that word of mouth would be the ideal scenario, also building up trust etc. Will keep plugging away.
Thanks again

Thanks very much, I am based in Central Shropshire, so a bit out of the area for me, only available at weekends due to work, but under different circumstances I would gladly accept your offer.
Many Thanks again

New to this forum, what’s the procedure for making contact,

Offer to go beating on a local shoot, join a Clay Pigeon club, some pubs still have them.
Thanks for the tips, i need to get out more i think 😉. Spend too much time working away from home. To be fair i don't have far to go within a radius of home to be within the "rural community". Methinks i need too try harder 👍
