Should I milk the ewe whilst waiting for a replacement lamb?

Had a ewe lamb a big single in the night with a lot of intestines coming through its navel.
I've dispatched the lamb and left it with her. She's still showing interest but as I've only a small flock I've no spare lamb available yet.
Was hoping to skin it and give her a lamb if one becomes available in the next day or so.
Should I be milking her out a couple of times a day in case one comes available or leave it until I know? Thanks y'all

I'd be taking the colostrum off her to keep in the freezer for when required.
