I wrap for a few who supply there own but when you pull into there field and theres no wrap no one about and no ones answering the phone and you have somewere else to be its a right ball ache also

Why do you still go there? I would never be baling haylage and expecting the wrapper without making sure that the required number of rolls were not in the field, or that the operator knew from where to collect the wrap.

I cannot believe that some contractors go to farms where quality wrap is not readily available for the machine operator.

Its fine most the time but if the farmers away baling somewere else they can forgot to drop the wrap of in the first field

Who the feck bales and wraps that amount and dosnt have there own tackle
Not everyone has add lib own grown labour. One has sold his own Baler and wrapper as his workman became very poorly and was left as a one man band to mow, Tedd, rake, Bale, wrap and haul 4or 5 cuts off 100+ acres and milk cow's that's became impossible!!!

Just about everyone over here.
A bit difficult to suddenly find a hundred grand when our contractors are so good and cheap.
Our local man only makes a dollar-something per bale after his costs, and just about blows the back door off the baler with each one, proper bales.
I drove his rake tractor and he knocked $4 off!
I can name one farmer with an old Fusion, and he's got about 26000 acres all told,
3 big farms and a smaller one, so he can justify it
