Seen on ther website that ther musso pickup comes with 7 year 150000 mile warranty. Seem pretty temptin if your in the market for new pickup as ye could hardly go wrong

Buy one at 2 years old for half new price? They usually drop like stones. My brother in law has a new (18) one with 3.5t towing.
I would say that was good advice. I quite fancy the new Rexton, but I am guessing an 18-24 month old one will have lost at least £10k so at around early £20’s k with the balance of warranty I’d say it was a good buy. Sister in law has a 6 month old one with 4K miles done and it’s a grand thing. But heavy on the diesel though

At 7 year old (end of warranty) it will be worth 'hee haw', where as a Ford / Toyota / Isuzu / Itchypussy will be worth £7 to 8k plus vat.
Ergo, warranty apart, cost of ownership will be similar.

Aftermarket parts? Youd thought the Chinese budget brands would be budget parts
I can remember a friend had a one years ago he ran it with success until he needed parts. An exhaust was £950 so he wasn’t long of getting rid. Basically he told me the car was good but no practically in keeping it beyond a few years. Not much resale value. I don’t know if things have altered now

Was this the Great Wall brand? Doesn’t sound like Ssangyong

My brother bought one 3 months ago and loves it, says its very comfortable and nice to drive. No issues as yet.
Warranty is very comprehensive for the 7 years

Edit: He says it handles trailer with 4 barren cows very well too
