I see but you're going to have to go a lot bigger than a 12 ton model for 24ft and I reckon you would struggle to fold the sides back in with 8ft of straw bales inside unless you went slightly wider with a custom build. Definitely more efficient to cart both ways mind if you can find something that suits both muck and straw

I dont intend lifting the side back up for straw

I remember something similar, I was very impressed, chopper NEVER stopped, no truck, telephone pole in the way etc just blew the grass into the trailer he always towed, then on a straight bit tipped in into the truck
