Should be 330kg.270 kg - 300 kg depends on your baler man etc
Thats the risk yiu take buying at auction . And you pay more most of the time for the privalage . I loaded some barley this week @290 kg and they looked heavy . I always aim on the low side as to not get cought out . Thats why i hardly ever get any at auctionThere is some straw in the Sedgemoor fodder sale local to us. Wheat Straw Quadrants 120 x 70 x 8 foot. Sold by the bale - what weight do you think they would be? Apparently around 9-10% moisture. 300kg each?
I asked first awwHow can it be produced for less than £100 per ton and show a profit????
If you have the grass given to you you only have harvesting costsI asked first aww
Not going to get there - be interested to know what the trade is like if anyone goes....
What did the hay at the market make?Trade can only be described as solid and the dearest of the year so far!
Delivering 80 x 90 , .1010 bales of hay over the weight bridge and they are 350kgs each ( 14ton a load) so yeah either very dry hay or a bit slack.the 6 string hay bales, we have just bought, weigh 280 kg, surprised, because they are tight bales, I thought they would have been heavier. That's why they sell, per bale !!!
What did the hay at the market make?
And some straw prices?
