Anyone bought any tools from Silverline? Were they half decent or cheap rubbish?
Our 15 year old has developed an interest in all things mechanical and has bought himself a little non-runner Fiat hatchback to tinker with as he learns. So far he's been using my tools which I have no issue with as he looks after them, but we thought it might be a nice idea to get him a basic set of tools as a reward for the effort he put in studying for his recent exams.
Any other reasonably priced brands worth checking out? I bought a lot of Bergen and US Pro stuff in my teens and still use to this day, but they don't seem to be available in any local motor factors or tool outlets.
