I'd say no more than 48 hrs for the most severe,then a gradual lessening of extremes before the Atlantic edges back in around the 17th.
then again i could be wrong lol.
either way i never look for longevity,it's hard enough trying to nail the arrival never mind the departure.

cant wait to hand turn my onion and leek beds come Tuesday.i'll do them over 2 days and release the flock of hens onto them,best seed bed ever as 40 hi-sex pullets go berserk and create the perfect tilth for re-planting.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
