Our Maire got us to get our Carte de Sejour when we bought the farm. We were some of the last to get them as from the end of 2003 any EU citizen could come if they'd got a job or enough to live on.We can still vote for our last constituency Martin. Nationality is real difficult, as it is for the uk or Czech Republic for example. As a half way house, we can get (well, must now) a residency permit.
