What I am saying is don't knock people trying to fight for their survival, you never know you may be next. The trucks were from many producers in England as well as Scotland who have basically been fu&ked by this lying and incompetent government. Bozza just told them it's their fault for not filling the paperwork out correctly is not helpful and then fining them for breaking Covid rules just for good measure! :banghead:
Hold on a mo , everyone knew the system was changing , if you didn't you're a fool

Funny, I’ve suggested a number of times to Mrs Czech that I might well do just that 😂
Do you know Syrian for vet by any chance?;)

The only folk I’ve had here offering services on the black have been ex pats😕
So you would be happy to pay your employers share of MSA ? ( national insurance to us , which in france is eye watering )

Nosy question - your “local” MP is in my neighbouring constituency but I thought you resided in France? If so have you got French nationality or are you caught in the gap created by Brexit? Noting personal, just curious. By the way not overly impressed with “your MP” either
When you emigrate, you're allowed to vote for 15 years. He's always been a useless prat , up the arse of anyone with serious money. Didn't bother to reply, expected that.
Roger Gale , on the other hand, has worked tirelessly for all uk/EU citizens and continues to do so. Have full residential rights both before and now under the withdrawal agreement. 2 girls , dual nationals👍
We all have more rights here in France than in the uk.

Yep, if you read many of the threads you might note I have commented how well the uk is doing with the vaccination. And I even mentioned how pleased I was that my mum has received her’s (on the second appointment)
Europe is pretty underwhelming (so far) on vaccination.
Do you think smug is a good look? Especially when it regards the health of elderly folk
Just spoke to a mate in the Charente, he's getting his at the end of the month! Fit as a flea at 58.👍

Saw what was going to happen in June 2016. Been buying anything that save’s time/work ever since (works well for msa/tax here anyway) and frankly since we brought the cows in I’ve been wondering what to do with myself half the time.
Other than that, I’ve always preferred the (legitimate) self employed route.

But you don't want to pay the going rate , bet it's 30 euro an hour by now

We can still vote for our last constituency Martin. Nationality is real difficult, as it is for the uk or Czech Republic for example. As a half way house, we can get (well, must now) a residency permit.
Plenty of folk I know had lived here 20 years or more but never needed to bother...
Before Farage day🤷‍♂️
Our Maire got us to get our Carte de Sejour when we bought the farm. We were some of the last to get them as from the end of 2003 any EU citizen could come if they'd got a job or enough to live on.
