Slow boom fold - Chafer Guardian

Finished spraying some fields yesterday and went to fold up the sprayer. The outer boom sections would only fold at around a third of their normal speed. The inner boom sections fold absolutely fine.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Turn the pump off and see if it folds normally. Mine does it and folds quicker with pump off. Maybe increase oil flow from tractor?

Thanks for the reply. I usually have the pump turned off anyway.

There’s clearly something amiss, wondered whether it was a weak solenoid, or something stuck in the restrictor perhaps. All other hydraulics on it work fine, it’s just that one circuit that is playing up.

Thought I'd update this for anyone who might come across similar in the future.

Turns out one of the restrictors had unscrewed itself and needed tightening up. 10 mins with a spanner and screwdriver and it's all back to normal again.
