Slurry pipe

Hi,
I'm looking to get some umbilical slurry pipes, currently running oroflex 20 (yellow stuff). I'm after a length of 5 inch to come straight off the pump so doesn't need to be top of the range stuff but something pretty good.
Iv been offered some rubber hose and some PU green pipe I have been told the chap who used to make snaptite makes the green stuff.

I'm after some 4 inch drag hose as well.
Priced up some of that PU green stuff again and been told that it's good for dragging.

Someone's recommended I get some pu2000 which is more money but will last a lot longer dragging

Any help would be appreciated
Many thanks

TIA

If it had a few couplings or joiners in it there will be about 200 meters, had bauer couplings in it but sold them to a guy a while ago & have never used it since as I do not like pipe in 50 meter lenght's or so, You can have it for £500 + Vat with any 5" couplings we have lying about.
Yes there are a few types of Snap-tite, depends what you want to do with it & how much you want to spend

Bought some 4" snaptite last spring,it seems to be ribbed and twists easy.(n) might just be newness, trouble is I avoid using it.

My 4" G&H pipe has been good but its worn out now, always rated my 6" Angus hose but feck 6" is numb stuff.

just had a price on oroflex20 5" pipe and its £15+vat a meter, was told that it needs to be that grade or similar as since we have a Doda HD35 and the pressure it produces would be liable to burst a lower graded pipe. Is this true? Our system only has one 200mtr 5" lenght of the pump just now and the rest is 4" so looking to increase the 5".

I thought oroflex 20 was the lowest grade you could get

Just wondered as we are from slurry experts and seek some advice, just extended our 5" hose off the doda to 1000mtr then 4" for 400mtr as drag hose. (Previously had 200mtr 5" and then all 4". )
We had to run the pump at Pto speed. 1000rpm to get enough pressure to spread through a single nozzle splash plate, now with more 5" we only run the pump at 450rpm and that's enough, is the extra 5" hose that much easier on the pump?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
