Slurry

Hi all. Abit late with our slurry this year wet weather, then lambing etc. Normally wouldn't bother me but with the forecast looking like no rain til at least beginning of May should I just hold of and apply after first cut? Fair watery but don't want it to dry on top of the grass and come in with silage. Thoughts would be appreciated.

How much grass is there and when do you plan to silage?
The fact you have sheep would suggest not a lot of grass and not too early sulaging

Not much grass as just got sheep off. Silage usually first week in June. Fert on yesterday. But needing rain.

Silaging in June id not worry... if it was May I’d worry....

Crack on if the sheep have just come off, plenty put slurry on in between cuts so not a lot different
