Hi, I would like to buy a small plot of land, for my own use, not to rent out. I want a small piece of land or a corner of a field. I’m excited and sensible, mostly.
I have a budget of £1000 to pay immediately.
Thank you! x
Where do you want this land, you've put no location? And just for info, £1000 will get you very very little tbh.

Hi, sorry, I missed the location out. I want somewhere in north Lincolnshire or thereabouts. Yes I realise that it’s a small amount, but I only want a small size. Thanks for your reply. x

Not wishing to burst your bubble, you are not going to find a small plot of land for £1000.

Even if you double it and add another zero, it will still be very hard.

You're requesting something that doesn't exist. I've never yet seen a field with a spare corner

This is like going into a bakery and asking for an eighth of a Danish pastry.

You can buy a whole pastry and cut it into eight, you might even persuade them to cut it up for you and only give you an eighth, but they aren't going to sell you an eighth of the pastry for an eighth of the price.

Lets give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this isn't just a prankster..... Start by doubling your budget and adding a zero then add another 25% to cover professional fees and legal expenses and you might find something that doesn't have any road access or services. "Small" is a relative term my lawn is small compared to Buckingham palace but vast compared to that of a newbuild semi... Landowners don't like giving up land, it can have large tax consequences and who knows what the next neighbor might be like if or what they might do with the plot if and when you move on...

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
