Small straw chopper

Looking for advice on a small petrol driven straw chopper for the better half’s horse addiction. Got nearly 40 ton of muck I need rid of before the winter sets in we’re only grass here, neighbouring farms are chicken muck only the fear of black grass is strong with the neighbours- but it’s so damned strawy and unrotted. Would these little petrol powered gadgets help with the shorter chop length and ease of spreading with a rotorspreader?

If so do you any of You have one For sale?

Give her a fork and tell her to both bed up and muck out with it. Pretty sure that will temper the enthusiasm for increased equine numbers.

may also temper her enthusiasm for me too and may be banished to the stables too! Just can’t seem to find one of those little push petrol shredders. We’ve a compact tractor she can use round the stables rather than the bigger kit but I’d rather keep hours off tractors and the odds of engine oil being checked is slim to none.

We have a petrol Valmetal which works well, and a second without motor which I am planning to convert to electric. When that gets done the petrol one will be for sale.
