Small trailer wheel rims

Hoping someone can help. I have quite a few old quad front tyres lying about that hold air but ran out of grip. Had an idea to stick them on my snacker to increase the height and stop catching so many stones with the drum. However, i'm struggling to find any wide enough.

Needs a 12" rim with 100mm PCD, and the quad rims are 6" wide. Any amount of websites selling 4" wide ones but not anything wider. Will update with exact tyre size tomorrow to see if that gives more options.

Thanks but PCDs on quad wheels are different. I had originally looked at 2 new Honda wheels so they'd have done as spares as well if necessary. Don't think offsets would work either unless I mounted them with valves to the inside.

Aye. You might be on a hiding to nothing sadly.

Rims off something like a Nova (possibly Corsa) or Clio may fit? If you can find them

Need to go down to a mini to get 12" wheels, can't.seem to find steel ones and alloys are a bit pricy lol. Even then not sure the centres would be right

Best I could find when I looked. Not sure if rims would be too narrow for beads to stay on. Our quads are on wider tyres than standard for on the hill.

I suspect if anything they'll br narrower than the trailertek ones you'd spotted anyway

Can only see 4" wide ones which are probably too narrow but thanks.

Nothing stopping you putting the tyres on 4" wide rims, they'll fit fine.

Offset will be your stumbling block making sure the tyres don't rub on the chassis

4x100 wheels are common enough, Vauxhall and Honda cars use them, just get a pair of car wheels and tyres from the scrapyard....

I think offset will be ok, just wasn't sure how a wider tyre would sit on a narrow rim. Might have to try it and see.

I can run the quad tyres at lower pressure, some of my ground gets seriously tender in winter, but it's always an option.
