Snow foaming

Has anyone rigged up their pressure washer so they can foam? I have a 1litre foam cannon/bottle but needs a few refills to cover a machine. Wondering if anyone had rigged a system that utilises the pressure washer to draw from a can of neat foaming detergent?

The litre bottle really needs a quick fit coupler to be interchangeable with your Lance but be able to retain your lance trigger for both and then your litre of neat chemical will cover any machine really well with some spare. Pressure washers southwest set mine up for very little money and works fab

Cheers for that I’ve been looking at the injectors on YouTube and I think they are more trouble than they are worth, looks like I need to get some quick couplers ?

Mine has 1l bottle quickfit to Lance. But as said doesn't last long, however its the same thread as a pop bottle so easy to add a bigger bottle, or have a spare ready filled.
my shed washer gang use injectors at the pump successfully, but my set up is fine for me as I can chang from soap to plain in seconds, not having to wait for 30+ metres of pipe to prime/unprime.

The problem with injectors is they all require the pressure to be turned down in order to suck the chemical up. I cant find a easy way to do high pressure chemical.

Easiest way we’ve found is just jet wash the worst off little hand help pump sprayer with TFR in spray around leave for 5 mins an jet wash off works perfectly well and if you get the proper tfr you don’t need much

Used to have some sort of dual nozzle lance that had a handle on the side you could adjust the pressure (maybe flow) with. I’m guessing it was for just that job. Hateful thing to use though and didn’t last long.

I’ve fitted a 3/8 hyd quick fit coupling between my trigger and Lance and also one on my snow foam bottle . So I can spray foam at full pressure using my pressure washer trigger then swap back to the lance for rinsing off .

Think this is what you are looking for it's either this or put a low pressure injector in upstream from your pump.

Injectors/ foam lances are preferable as you are not supposed to run chems in the pressure pump, it can wreck the seals.
some chems also soak into the pressure hoses and it can take several uses until the water runs clean, not good for people like me who farm near a river as all run off is contaminated

If your washing sh!t off anything the washing shouldn't be running into a river.

An air filled foamer in my humble opinion is the best way to get the most cleaning out of the least chemical. Wash first with clean water to remove big lumpy bits then foam soak and wash again.
Now if your looking to degrease a machine there is nothing to touch running paraffin through an upstream injector into a hot washer full heat full power, turns the water white removes all oil and grease and doesn't harm paint, plastics or bearings. There is no TFR out there to touch it.

No usually mix it with water have used it neat on real stubborn stuff but wouldn’t leave it on long
As I said it depends how good it is we’ve had stuff you could put in neat and leave it and it wouldn’t touch dirt

Oh ok what is the best snowfoam to use for farm machinery (Ive heard a lot about Jenny-chem snowfoam)
