Snow storm coming

Dead cert according to a relative because his sheep were playing out in the field yesterday. I laughed but when I walked into our sheep shed this morning our sheep are playing too.

Has anyone else ever been told this?

Never heard that but given that we usually get whatever the East coast USA has had but less severe and around 10-14 days later I wouldn't rule it out, last time I saw a barometric air flow prediction thing I thought it looked as if there was some shitty stuff coming down from the Icelandic area.

As to sheep playing, I usually take it as a good sign that they're on the thrive, cats acting like spazzes is a pretty good indicator of snow or a storm in the offing.

LOL... I reckon you can age somebody to maybe between 45-50 through the use of that word. I think you'd also know who Joey Deacon was?
I have been trying for years to remember who it was who featured in a television program about a disabled man ,called Joey who made shoes. I recalled he could not speak properly and people thought he was retarded; but that was not the case. Thank you @
Lofty for twigging something in the old grey matter that with the help of the internet has finally resolved my search, Angus.

LOL you're out by 10yrs but thank you for being kind:). Did wonder before I pressed the post button whether it was OK, even though it referred to a kind of mog behaviour i.e. tearing into a room, screaching to a halt (ideally, but not always, before they crash into something), lying on their side kicking out furiously at feck all before belting through to other parts of the house, rinse and repeat.

SIGH!! so much of my vocabulary has been lost  I can still remember the charity collection cans for those kids.
