I believe that some farmers/ managers are having the soils on the land they farm tested for carbon content.(I know of one farmer who has had all the land he is putting down to a 5year scheme tested for carbon content, so that at the end of the 5yrs he can have it tested for carbon content again, and hopefully the carbon content will have increased and he will be able to get paid for it, or something along those lines )
Any way, what I am interested to know is are their different types of carbon tests/testing ,hopefully they would all give the same soil carbon content reading otherwise a very unsatisfactory situation.
