25ac to drill, 35ac to roll, 110ac to spray, think I'll need all the day light tomorrow has and maybe a bit more. Drilling is three fields, two after grass with the mzuri and one second wheat with the weaving. Three lots of new seed to grow on for next year. Rolls had a wheel bearing collapse tonight as I finished and are stuck on the wrong farm until I get bearings in the morning and there coming for the last 10 ton of rape at 10am. All this and the old man is off out for most of the day on a jolly.

Last planned 35ac going in today. Into what my uncle would call a proper seedbed.

But forecast is nice, subject to it not being too wet tomorrow, so some spring barley might turn into late wheat. Rolling, loading grain, spraying pre-ems, marking out crop trials. Slug pellets will have to wait until this showers have gone.

Started yesterday, very dry but OK, lots of blackgrass has now finally appeared in the stale seedbeds.. not that they look much like a seedbed.

All done, just some osr to knock out and plant with Spring beans but that's us done for winter.

Rolled will get some sprayed this week, gone in very nice

Last 4ha wheat after spuds drilled Friday sprayed today. (added R'up to pre-em to kill any transplanted BG). Only W Beans to go now, rest after Beet coming Spring Barley.

Should hopefully finish first wheat on Tuesday. All sprayed today with glyphosate. That'll just leave some second wheat to go in when it comes dry next.

Last of the wheat in after maize, just before the rain yesterday .
Still got stuff to spray, so hopefully get a dry day soon.

Still about 100 ac to go all after maize most of which is not cut. Drill rained off yesterday and wet last night so need a couple of dry days before we can sensibly move. Haven't ordered all the seed on perpose so may end up with some spring wheat.

Got 50 acres of Belepi to go in on medium loam with some clay patches. It was just getting dry enough to go in this morn then the heavens opened, O what joy!!

Looking at the rainfall radar for what's coming today (soon ) I think that may well be it apart from my bit of fodder beet land

Not sure, but my light land is lighter than yours and my heavy is heavier than everybody else's, of course.

Had a good couple of good days bean drilling with the Mzuri until last nights rain stopped use again. 30ac left for the last customer but he is now on about getting some wheat in behind Maize as a trial. Just 100ac to start with.
