Has anyone direct drilled soya beans?
Yep dd into grazed of cover crop last year . This year the field that is going into soya has been straw raked and left to green up all winter now sprayed off and a false seedbed made at about 1 1/2 - 2 inches max to get another flush of weeds before we drill .Has anyone direct drilled soya beans?
On contract.what are you planning on doing with them?

I believe the landowner has done contract with Soya UK. We just do the work. What sort of price could you expect from soybeans ? Or what options do you have ?
Thinking a JD 750A drill.DD some here, sub-soiled the rest a month before drilling , the packer more or less left a stale seedbed. I think, if anything, the plants that were dd were stronger but our (SimTech) drill is not so good with uneven ground, the plant was less good where we dd , as usual one step forward and two back.
What do you plan to drill them with?
