This happen today. Nearly 2 hrs to remove. Grinder, bolt cutters, load strap. Got it out.

i normally try to find the end and unwind it when it's like that, attaching to something then reversing back usually gets the worst of it off.

It was a twisted roll before I picked it up I think. I thought it would look better if I cut the nettles

Had that happen a few times, small grinder is best option and cut right down threw it.

Been caught like that a few times,if it looks like it wasn’t done last time,I leave it now.Miserable job getting it out.

I caught a top wire once, could see the end sort of coming, then smashed door glass, on a mf590, gas axe!

Picked up a telegraph pole wire stay last year, services had replaced the pole and stay and left the old one in the verge. By the time the the rotor stopped the wire was glowing red hot!

Dad had bed springs in rotavator pre angle grinder days, took a while to extract

We all been there.the sight of barbed wire being pulled in from several metres ahead ain’t the best sight,or sheep netting for that matter.

Did exactly that with the topper after harvest as I always try and top around the bottom to save a run for the hedge cutter contractor .
And it was me that left it there after the tack sheep had gone last year.
