Long cable tie.

Most sprayer manufactruers have skids to stop the boom hitting the ground. They aren't usually long enough for your spray nozzle pattern depending on nozzle spacing and angle but they help as a guide - they are normally cranked back so they don't get covered with spray unlike a cable tie.
