Any ideas?
All worked ok then went to fold booms and only 1 side would?
All connections ok.
All fuses ok.
All hydraulic pipes in ,not popped out and working ok.
Swapped electric block connector on top of Solenoid, tried and that side Worked?
Therefore something on one side ?
Cables ok?
Doing my head in any ideas?

Its probably a weak coil on the electro hydraulic solenoid that operated whichever side of your boom that wont close.

You could swap the pipes over from the side that dose close correctly to test it.
Or link the both sides of the hydraulic hoses together with 2 "T" juctions and see if they both Open and Close at the same time, using the switch that operates the side that does work.

When I swap the electrical box connection screwed into the Solenoid over that side works ok and visa versa so looks like both the Solenoids work ok so must be the one side electrics?
All run together in one conduit so lost now?
Control Box works ok what ever side plug is swapped too.
So inbetween possibly?
Can't see nothing ,cracked, off, missing, cut etc?
Fun and games.

my sprayer has a sequence valve in the hydraulics so the booms move even and together
something got in there the other day and 1 boom stayed out while the other closed and opened as normal
stripped the sequence valve but didn't find any foreign objects and there is a restrictor on each ram too but they were also clear

it worked after :banghead:  :woot:

id follow the hydraulic lines from the rams to the spool block and see if theres anything along the way

Square plug on the solenoid? Undo the gland and pop the cover off to check the terminals inside, I've seen it plenty of times where they corode or break off inside. I actually had one on my sprayer the other week.

Several times I’ve had similar problems.
Got so pee'd off, that I walked home.
Next morning decide to ring the dealer. But before I do, I go back and check if it still has the problem and it all works fine. That problem never to occur again!

How the feck can that be?

They call it Sod’s law. I add an extra “f” or two either side of Sod’s!

I ve got the same problem on a tri fold knight trail blazer was working fine then when traveling to another field my boom was knocked by a passing lorry now one side unfolds and the other doesn't .It's just like there is no oil pressure on the ram I can manually pull the ram and boom out .

Would oil seals been damaged by knock?
