Sprayer filling, Discuss

Thinking of going down the route of having a veg craft style filling system. 90% of the time we fill at a central site, next to IBCs etc etc. This means we could save a few hours by turning off the sprayer and using cheap(er) electricity to run a pump and fill the sprayer? Big hopper would make it easier for decanting bittersalz etc etc etc, draining rack for drying the bottles better than we do at the moment. Any other thoughts.

There is a thread just been brought back to life above , Handler v Pro fill from a few years ago . As you will see I went pro fill and still use it and still very happy . Mine is the mini version on a bowser and using petrol pump but you can get a bigger static version with electric pumps .
Saw a very clever new system on Welker Farms on you tube last night, episode is called something like new upgrades and was posted in last few weeks . It's basically a clever pump system/ induction hopper with electric controlled valves allowing pre determined amounts to be sucked from ipc containers all controlled from a I pad pre loaded with load details . It also records what was added and the order with date and time for record system . Can t remember off top of head but called Tank fill I think, invented by a US farmer/ engineer and his sons.

Welker farms video

The system was a Mix Maid I think.

Also check out Tony Fasts YouTube, Fast Ag Montanna, he has a nice mix setup on an artic for spraying.
They seem to be well sorted for filling setups over there, guess its the sheer area they are covering means quick turnarounds are crucial.

The sprayer filling system Welker farms had installed as have other Youtubers is called Mix Mate. Built by a farming family in Ohio I believe, there company is called Praxidyn:
Looks like a fantastic system controlled through a tablet but whether it could be bought and then shipped over here might be tricky.
