Spraying off cover crops before or after direct drilling cereals

After seeing @Clive videos, showing their drill planting into green cover crops , recently ,on the Cropping "Anyone Drilling" thread ,I am interested to know if most of you spray your cover crops off before or after planting your cereals. I am sure what am asking has been discussed at great length before but as direct drilling in to cover crops has now been going on for quite a few years, I was wondering if most of you spray off before drilling or after.

i think the reason there may be little comment is that technically it’s not correct use of chemical to spray off after sowing.
Many thanks for pointing that out to me. I only asked the question to keep up to date with latest techniques, although not farming anymore. The drill @Clive was using in the videos certainly looked to be doing a very good job, but I get the impression that the soil being drilled would be no where near as heavy as many TFF members have to contend with, cover crops or no cover crops.

the top inch of that soil is what I have made over the last decade

although it’s not the heaviest of land in that video it’s not blow away sand either and I certainly would t ha e been able to drill it after that much rain 10 years ago
