Spring wheat, which cover?, spring wheat

Hi as above really we were going to rotate spring wheat and spring barley and spring beans on some bad grass weed land for the foreseeable future but we cancelled the barley and bean seed due to price hikes so will now just stick with continuous spring wheat but we want to cover crop between it so something sown direct after harvest and kept in place until March so about 6 months growth. What mix should we be looking at or would a single crop be better. Main objective is grass weed surpression rather than building soil indices as P & K are 3’s and ph is spot on. I’m afraid no idea what the OM level is but suspect not great as straw is removed.

Raddish / vetch /oats /phacelia . bit of mustard as well if not in a scheme graze it with sheep or just spray off and drill . I mix the oats and peas and vetch and spin them on with fert spinner put the rest in a slug pelleter on a tractor and spin as I go with a set of light discs and rolls , We graze off with sheep . The mixes you can make the as cheap or as expensive as you like . the more the merrier .
We don't put buckwheat in as grazing but some still do .
