Rolling a 1 on a die doesn't alter the odds of rolling a 1 on a second die. Winters, even if below average, are always cold and wet. Summer is always warmer with more evaporation. I'm sure it will rain at some point - we do live in the world's most average weather country.

Went to cut the last field of winter barley yesterday. Not quite fit

Cassia doing 3.5 t/acre here which is surprising, best looking field still to cut yet. Nice bit of straw. Spring barley suffering big time.

I had no idea those sort of yields were possible in Australia? Must be an anomaly? Or is it irrigated?

40 deg as I drove through Market Rasen.
I think my winter wheat and spring barley will easily be harvested by the end of July at this rate. Everything is crisping up.

About 10 miles due east of me,packed up combing at 11am osr at 4.5%, combine running extremely hot,only cutting for a couple of hours,neighbours S Barley coming off at 11%,and nothing special.

I had a load rejected once it only ever load. Which never hit the grain store. Was loaded straight of the field. Had bugs in it. Sometime the sample guys don’t know a clover weevil from a grain weevil.
