At least its easy to spot where to rouge!View attachment 1035851
as it’s important to show the good and the bad, this is quite an extreme example of blackgrass straight behind the combine in some second wheat. Quite a poor bit of soil and usually does have blackgrass. The crop in the wheelings is perhaps slightly thinner than the crop inbetween but no way near enough to let this much BG grow!
You wouldn’t be able to rogue this amount cost effectively .At least its easy to spot where to rouge!
No I have a cut down norsten box drill I put on the flat lift, just dribble it out at 10” spacing, rolled and done no pellets on that bitDid you broadcast the turnips? Did they need slug pellets?
knapsack. I would be surprised if seeds are viable now.Our worst patch of black grass has spread after a crop of potatoes last year.
Knapsack it or are too many seeds viable?

tbh if thats all of it, you and a mate should be able to pull that in a day with ease. It will feel like its taking ages, but youve a good month to six weeks to get it done.
Otherwise, knapsack, wait a week, then top.
Is that a home made weaving sabre tine?
Skyline spring barley has liked a drink. It’s pumping now. And No bagged N!
