Surprised another drought thread hasn't been started!

We're burning up on light land now. Forecast rain for next few days has gone.
Know the feeling!
Always rain forecasted if four days time, but it is always moving to be in four days time! Really could do with an inch or two. But if anyone asks it was not me saying that come harvest.

52 mm last week
Wheat crops look descent but the over watered bits from the winter will keep it average
wheat is taller than for a few years so bad weather in July will not be welcome

need some sun in the next 3 weeks

rest of crops will do well to be above average

planning on going to nat aboretum , diversion to penkridge ,stafford as never been ,and up and down a bit of the trent/mersey must be 35 /40 years since we went on a canal hol but covid made the idea attractive
