Static caravan planing permission

As title, does anyone know what is the legal planning requirement with regards to having a static caravan near farmland / private course fishery. I don’t think it’s being used to sleep in, more of a out of the weather space if that makes sense.......TIA

What do you mean by "static" ? If it's bigger than a tourer, it doesn't follow that it's classed as static.

In which case, it's probably "temporary" in planning terms.
By uk definition, Static as in semi permanent that need to be delivered or moved by transporters, not a tourer that can be towed by car.

If you mean the mobile home sort of thing that does have wheels but is usually fixed in place once sited with decks etc, then you very much do need permission IF someone is living in it unless it is within the curtilage of a home and the occupant only sleeps in the mobile.

If it is not used for living but as an office for example, planners like to be informed prior to any van being brought on site.

Only know this because of a fingering ....

I could take you to 4 static caravans without planning permission on 4 different farms within 15 minutes of our yard. Filled with under keepers and crotchety teat pullers
I know of one that asked for pp , PC objected and the council asked for more info about it but the applicant hasnt bothered to reply and has sited it and lived in it for 4-5mths , in full view of a main road without anything being said or anybody complaining.
