I’m sure Fraser make new static mill and mixes. Quick google search will throw up some very tidy looking nearly new examples for sale!

Got a Skiold mill from Danagri at Bridgenorth, 3 rollers will handle anything.
Haven't got a mixer so can't comment but is well made and easy to adjust etc. Would recommend :)

as said above I roll it into mixer wagon, mix 5.5 ton a time, hydraulic auger on back put it up into beef hoppers or into a trailer I do 2 mixes every 3 weeks, 4 ton in 1 bin 4 ton in other then 3 ton into trailer to top them up before next mix.

you don't get paid for lugging 25kg bags around < that's what granddad did before I "mechanised" the system we did about 5 mixings a week in the old fraser + 600kg mixer.

Got rid of our static alvan blanch mill mixer 15yrs ago and bought a superior QM6000 trailed machine, best thing we ever done in the feed side of things, home grown corn buy in brewers grains, minerals, pot ale and higher protein pellets nearer lambing time, constant mill mixer can mix as little or as much as you want onto floor, into trailer or bin, filled a 14t trailer in 40mins yesterday that would’ve taken me all day with the old alvan

How does the QM6000 act as a mixer?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
