Anybody got experience of steering ram locks and do they work and are there any downsides. Thinking about getting one as electrical devices don’t seem to be as effective as they once were against our Subaru driving friends.

I have heard stories of thieves being able to kill the signal on trackers, and although they may be just stories, the advantage with a ram lock is that there is just a one off cost, and if it fits, you can easily use it on to another machine.
Also it stops the machine being stolen in the first place, hopefully!

Hi

I bought two Block Stems from the below company (not affiliated with them in any way), and the service was fantastic. They are a large lump of metal, very quick to add and remove and Thatcham approved.

This one was on a Claas tractor.

They took it off with a cordless angle grinder (or similar) so they could nick the Graham Edwards trailer parked behind it
