Yep. The agrident readers are very good and won’t break the bank. Only had mine a few months but get on very well with it.

Assuming it does more than just reading the tag number .......?
With that in mind Does it need updates or anything spent on it after the initial purchase cost?
theres nothing worse than buying software and stick reader/ app all the the pallava and then be trapped into an annual fee which you didn't realise at the start

It comes with free software and does a lot more than read a tag.

At lambing I linked lambs with ewes and rams and recorded birth issues to start with.

And it links directly to my scales enabling an instant record of DLWG.

There a lot more it will do but yet to get to most of it.

Very pleased with it and my daughter who scans 1000’s of tags a week with a basic shearwell unit says it is far more responsive and easier on the arm.

Latest update on the agrident readers. We're testing next week with the trutest s3 scale. That link has been completed and we're just doing final testing for agrident before the updates is released . Note that the s3 does not show weight gain pet day in real time as you're weighing. You get that once you transfer the weights to pc. If you want to see weight gain per day in real time on the scale screen you would consider the eziweigh 7i scale.
