Can’t you pick your own ?

Need to see them to pick them. Can’t see them walking in their pens. At least in the show you can see the bull you like against his peers and see if he is big enough for his age. You can see how he behaves to give an indication of temperament.
I watch the show and pick a list of bulls that I’d be happy to take home, then spend the sale trying to buy at my budget.

I’ve just been watching the parade of limmy bulls at Carlisle. Streamed live on Facebook. It gave a reasonable view of the bulls

It was a very disappointing sale - at least for those selling.

There were some very good bulls to be had for under ÂŁ4000, many with Ampertaine sires. I suppose not a lot of folk will be looking for bulls just now, so maybe the time to buy a bull is 8 months before you need him.

I only saw about the last half hour of the sale, but I agree, didn’t have much go about it. My picks, lot 6, which would of been within budget made 7500gns and my day dream lotto win bull made 24000gns

Nobody would know how old they are tho, that is one of the problems.
