Friend of mine had his Landrover Defender, reg. no. NJ02NDO and an IW 10' x 5' flatbed trailer stolen over night a week ago Friday from his yard near Lydford, Devon. LR is short wheel base, green hardback.
He put his horsebox on it and locked it up ready for work the following morning, Saturday. Also padlocked the field gate on his way out. Went to go to work Saturday morning and found the chain on the gate had been cut. On going up to the yard he discovered the cheeky cnuts had reversed his his horsebox out of the way, unhitched it and then hitched up his flatbed trailer and driven off with it and the LR. Just putting the word out, I know it is probably in a container on it's way to Africa now or been stripped down for parts, he had put a galvanised chassis and bulkhead on it a couple of years ago.
