£40/head haulage?! The price paid per kg looks as good as anywhere but you have big deductions wherever in Africa you send them to [emoji848]
Dunbia
Cant quite see the bit bottom left, were they electronic or manual graded. Good grades anywayView attachment 536916 Just had my return. Seeing market reports makes me wonder if I should sell them as stores. Or is it just market report bull sh!t?
Could have done with a couple more weeks to get them over 300kgs. And the haulage is ott. Good grades for freisians[emoji106]View attachment 536916 Just had my return. Seeing market reports makes me wonder if I should sell them as stores. Or is it just market report bull sh!t?
Does st merryn not pay as well for friesians?
Pretty sure we were on 357 for a R last week. Plus the 5p for being in the weight range. Must be good sorts to get an R and a 4H at 20 months, galling to give away meat at 4H though. It depends what you've paid to get them fat as to whether you should have sold them as stores. You must have given them some decent grub to get them fit at those weights.Haven't tried them for a while. Was disappointed last time I used them
Swings and roundabouts. If there is TB in your area it would make the decision for you.No, I'm pleased with the grades and price but would I be better selling as stores?
