Massey Harris made a similar thing years ago, the rotors had bent round bar as beaters. From memory, it was a complete failure as trash wrapped around the rotors in moments, according to reports from trials.

Guess it'd only be any good in light dry land. I'd like to see it in some wet heavy clay.

Looking at it again, I think it would leave the land so hollow that you would be unable to get a tractor near it for some time, so plenty of time to pick stones!
