Ok, for several reasons I have decided to whole crop 20acres of winter barley.
i want ideas of a catch crop to plant, hopefully to graze in the autumn with beef cows.
i have oats, would be concerned about flea beetle but I may have to spray
hopefully plant next week (if it rains).

You will need a lot more moisture than is about now for either to grow mind.
