Been out looking for a fresh car for Mrs R today and we’ve narrowed it down to citron c1 4 door or fiat 500 which are only 2 door.
C1 more practical and a touch cheaper fiat looks better and drives slightly better.
It’s hart or head .
10k-20k Miles and top end budget of £7000 .
I say get the fiat if she needs practical she can use the big car .
Not sure how much of a tlt I’d look in either not that I drive present small car much

We looked at the 500's when the local Jeep dealer started selling Fiat after they became 1. Was quite impressed for a small car. Missus liked it.

Some of the VW Ups look well specced as well for the money.

Whatever you do don’t get the 3 cylinder psu engine (Peugeot/Citroen and alit of others are using same engine now) oil pumps fail and can’t be fixed ( even by dealers) new crate engine is the fix, dealers round me got yards full of them waiting for engines.just done one on a ds3 for a customer on a 15 plate,40k miles

Local dealer is selling a life time warranty for @£650 which was half the price stone acer wanted for a 5 year warranty. He said fiat 500 was prone to rear end suspension issues

Toyota was another we looked at as a D4d Yaris... Have a Customer who's a Toyota Tech and runs V8 Jeeps he says rarely see D4D Yaris's in other than routine service.
Selling my Corolla soon as I have a corsa coming that’s to good a deal such a shame as Corolla is 10x the car
