Sward measuring stick

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone uses a sward measuring stick to measure grass and what you think of them? I cant seem to find any for sale on the web (only sword sticks which wasn't quite what i was looking for) so does anyone know where to get one from?

Can't see the point at the moment as if the forecast is correct then once the water has gone from on top of the grass then it will have disappeared completely when the sub zero East wind arrives!!
