Swindon & Wilts PCC vote rerun

One of the candidates for Norfolk was an ex Met CID officer standing as an independent. He finished bottom of the poll. We also had a Green, a Labour and a Liberal ex schoolmaster candidate together with an ex Para Conservative who walked it. I wonder why the ex Met man failed so miserably?

If he's anything like our village resident ex met officer its no surprise, ours appears to model himself on Jack Reagan of the Sweeney circa 1975, until their demise he was the local UKIP secretary
