Hi first must say hello to everyone and hope the weather is good where ya are.. I have a new Holland t7 210 which I bought second hand, problem is the noise and vibration coming from the steering and vibration noise from the gearbox when letting off the power, have tried filters, steering pump, orbital unit and at a loss where to go next, seems like air in the hydraulic system but lift and spools are fine..

Hi. I drive one too. Autocommand version. Did tou try the oil change?
What oil Yours have? I think my boss fill ours with the 10w30 nh410. It is the same for all oter small tractors in the house, and ours run fine, just make a small litle noise when lifting tippers but notting wierd, i guess the noise may be any small sphere on those hidraulic cassetes in the back betwen the spools and the chassis

Thanks for you reply,
Yes changed the oil and filters with genuine parts, made no difference, when Tractor is warm you can hear the steering vibration from the other side of the farmyard, the vibration seems to be starting at the low pressure pump and traveling through the pipes.

Have the pressured been checked in the accumulators? Had a Tm a few years back that made horrendous pipe vibration row. Accumulator was out of gas. We now consider them a service item and get ours checked every couple of years.

Yea its GPS ready, we took the autosteer valve off the orbital unit and it made it slightly more quiet, probably only because its eliminating the number of valve's the vibration is going through.
Just wondering Vernon,
Is there a accumulator for the low pressure pump on the t7 series? I know there was a mod for the smaller delta model brought out to reduce hydraulic vibration and it consisted of a accumulator bottle and a few pipes..

To be honest I really don't know. Think our 7030's have a separate one that's linked to steering and brakes. Think the short wheelbase are a different arrangement but don't have one here to look at.

I don't think there a bottle on the steering side one on the t7.. We were thinking of changing the suction filter casing and all the sealing o rings in case there is air getting into the system somewhere, really not sure what else to try??

In which case I'd say the transmission bottle may be worth checking. I'm trying to think back to our Tm when we had before we got the 6080. We had awful trouble with pipes vibrating, which could be felt quite badly through the steering system. It was worse when the tractor was hot. Cleaning out the radiators could for a short while stop it. We changed a valve under the cab floor, with no improvement. Then received some advice to replace a steel pipe with a rubber one. This help but didn't completely cure. Following the idea that the pipe may be acting as a damper and helping we moved to the transmission accumulator. Bladder was gone so replaced the bottle. Problem solved. That was at 6k hours. Tractor left us last summer with 14k hours. Was fine for that period.

That sounds like a plan, was tossing straw all day there and never got near anything, but will call into the dealers in the morning to see if they would check the transmission accumulator pressure..

Still no resolve to this noise and vibration in the steerin pipes, changed the complete suction filter housing and made no difference what so ever, so the thought of drawing air into the pump there didn't work out, accumulator bottle is grand, what next, or do we do the new Holland fix and stuff insulation under the cab to dampen the noise!!!

Hey Derek did you ever get to the bottom of the vibration issue, have 2017 cvx acting the exact same way and no one seems ab,e to give a proper diagnosis as to what is causing it,li got a list of stuff to go at,more trial and error, but really just shooting in the dark

The steering filter that's under the cab possibly? It's an in line filter that looks like a canister, running horizontally, painted.

Rear r/h wheel off and its under the cab and forward of the cab mounts. May need to jack the cab or our slim fitter has managed to change it a few times as it is!
