I know nick from tanks a lot, ride round a flat field in a dirty rusty tank! I don't aim to be the cheapest and don't aim to make a fortune, but have very clean and tidy tanks, have 2 purpose built tank tracks.
3/4 customers a week throughout the summer months would do nicely.
Military vehicle are my hobby, be nice for them to pay there way a little.

The smallest tank is a Alvis sabre, 1971 jaguar petrol engine, will travel at 50 mph at about 6 mpg.
The one in the middle is a Abbot 433 105mm spg, engine is a rolls Royce K60 multi fuel engine, 2 stroke, supercharged, opposed piston engine (12 pistons 6 combustion chambers) no cam shafts, valves or cylinder heads.
The one with no turret is a Fv 434 engineers vehicle, used for tank recovery in the field, also a crane so it can lift out and replace tank engines in the field. Same rolls Royce k60 engine.
The rolls Royce k60 engines do about 3 mpg

How do tank transmissions work without too much detail
It's obvious when a tank turns corners same as any tracked machine one track stops but if it needs to get out of trouble very quickly instead of track stopping can it be put in reverse and the opposite track forward?

Without going into too much detail. Using epicyclic gears and oil pumps. The oil is pumped in into different chambers which locks the either the Sun, Planet or annulus.

Holding a Planet carrier (I think??) allows for reverse.

Vehicles such as CVRT has 6 forward and 6 reserve gears due to this set up. I've worked on tracked armoured vehicles, but spend most of my time on Wheeled armour.

I thought it was expensive when I first looked but that's not bad for an hour. Maybe tea and biscuits before would be nice touch. Is that for one person or a group of say 2 spectators
