wheres the 5k figure come from? My pedigree Holsteins that have gone in the last few weeks only just got over £1300 a piece,try replacing them for that (when I’m actually allowed to buy in by the powers that be at tb headquarters) lost a-load of incalf heifers as week and compo ranged from £650-£806

we had the same issue, in England we only get average market values (table valuation) (so above average cattle are penalised and below average cattle are rewarded. Wales still gets individual valuation.

Read something on here at start of last week that something was on there tonight about tb,went out for dinner to come back at 6pm and only then found out that countryfile now starts at 5.30! Shows how long ago I last watched it as felt sure it started later than that

The first part of Tom Heap's blathering will have made every townie watching it think TB fraud is rife. Even if they broadcast a retraction, on the 10 o'clock news tonight, irreparable damage has already been done
