Tenancy agreement wording for not cutting trees.

That's where the skill in negotiating comes in. The landowner doesn't want any trees cut. If that doesn't suit a prospective tenant, look elsewhere! It's not really a difficult problem, is it? Or am I missing something?
Yes, theres probably another hundred landlords offering him land to choose from

The twenty foot strip round a field over hung by trees is the most profitable part of any estate
The tenant pays rent for it .
The trees steal the light , fertiliser and water and make timber for the landlord.
The shooting tenant also pays a rent for that area where his pheasants live for free off the tenants crops

Trees should be cut hard every few years. Branches catch tractor cabs/trailers etc etc, I've always worked on the principal that if you can reach branches with tractor loader full height then it's cut off, then every year trim small branches with hedge cutter . Land is for farming, not shaded by tree branches. I was a tenant once, all trees trimmed high by me.
