I bought a drum of tfr cleaner too wash the tractors with, put it in a spray bottle maybe 4 litres too 1 water, sprayed tractor then washed of with powerwasher, did great job with the dirt and grime, but after drying paintwork was faded,a whiteness on it and you could rub it of with ur finger,i had too t cut it too get it back too normal, both case and john deere the same, whats the wright way too use it,more watered down or none at all?

Do not allow any TFR to dry on paintwork, metal or plastic or anything. Allow it to dwell by all means but for a couple of minutes at most.

You need to dilute it according to the manufacturers instructions, they vary hugely. You may find that for seriously soiled kit, a prewash with the steamer to take the lumps off and soak the rest of the machine then allowing to drip dry a bit, then applying the TFR will work better.

After that you can get yourself a foam cannon and an appropriate chemical and spray the machine with that. Allow to dwell then pressure wash off.

For plastic mudguards, fenders and the like there are various automotive products that will restore the 'blackness' and protect them from UV light which causes the fade.

There are a few citrus type APC products you can buy in drums which are used on cars and the like which will be a bit safer on paintwork.

If you are really anal you can investigate a last stage protection type sealant (google) that will stop water and muck attaching itself to paintwork/panels. There are even products for glass.

It must be,i washed it off within 5 minutes of applying it,it done a hell of a job with the dirt, but left a lot of work with the t-cut.

Get yourself a foaming lance,I find it sticks better, works better, also it applies it at a lower pressure, like others have said don't let it dry on,I never use it neat.
Use it 50/50 on spray booms with a sponge, but wear gloves as it will fetch a layer of skin off.

Keep of TFRs using caustic in them, most cheap ones use it and that's what courses most damage to paint and plastic.
But any of them will dull paint if applied in heat or to a hot surface, so don't apply to a tractor or such that's been working and is still warm, especially engines and backend it will take the shine straight out of it likewise never ever let it dry on.
Most TFRs recommend dilution around 100 to 1.

There is plenty better compounds on the market than t cut... i know off topic but that crap belongs in the bin.

A foaming lance are a great jobs as @Heathland said just rinse it out with plenty of clean water after or it won't last long.

I use jennychem snowstorm which is brilliant through a foaming applicator.its like covering a machine in shaving foam.allways wash worst of first before using chemical and don't leave it on long before washing of otherwise you get the problems mentioned above.i never use it on a sunny day either.its very very nasty stuff and will give skin a hard time and I generally have to buy a new applicator once a year as the chemical eats the brass fittings inside it.even though he allways run clean water through it after use.
