Imagine price will be up a fair bit! Hopefuly get a cheap 2170 to replace my old 1135. They're is nothing wrong with current models, just seem to have got a bad reputation. Simple change the cab and new styling and everyone thinks they ll try them again.

The gearbox was the biggest downfall(n) if the price is right they will sell.

Not sure about the speed issue. I might be wrong but as far as I understand the smaller Fastracs are limited to lower speeds (compared to the 3000 series) due to forward opening doors and hydro only steering. Obviously everybody ignores all these limits anyway so can't see any minor increase in speed limits making a difference?

JCB do actually have a special exception in the UK with DfT for the small models with hydro steering and forward opening doors. Straight from the head of Landpower when I've question it in the past.

Yes the eaton and the crappy pre select reverse.(n)

Obviously got no patience!! The eaton gearbox was a dream to drive if you could drive it right, as long as you don't rush the gears then it's fine, much preferred my manual box to the electric shite that replaced it!!

Have to agree with you there. Good for roadwork and 3 splits adequate for field work. That new one looks the don though

The splitters didn't drop the ratios enough,I could leave fendts for dead with mine but after a big day driving your leg knew about it,after doing over 4k hrs on fastcraps with the eaton boxes I find an auto quad a dream in comparison.
